What we need

Studio Jukes will be what’s known as the “Controller” of the personal data you provide to us. We collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information or location based information. This does however include name, address, email, telephone numbers, website address, etc.

We may combine personal information with other information we collect or obtain about you (such as information we source from our third party partners), to serve you specifically, such as to deliver a product or service according to your preferences or restrictions, or for advertising or targeting purposes in accordance with this privacy policy.

Why we need your personal information

We need to know your basic personal data to provide you with marketing and website development and support services in line with any service agreement or contract you enter into with us. This includes providing you with service quotations and estimates and replying to service related queries via email or that you submit via the contact forms on our website.

We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need to provide and oversee the services we provide to you or for the purposes outlined on the form or page used to collect the information.

What we do with your personal information

Your personal information is accessible only by Studio Jukes based in the UK and used to manage your account with us and provide you with the services you contract with us to supply to you.

Where in the world is your information?

The majority of personal information is stored on systems in the UK. But there are some occasions where some of your information may leave the UK either in order to get to another organisation or if it’s stored in a system outside of the European Union.

We have additional protections on your information if it leaves the UK ranging from secure ways of transferring data to ensuring we have a robust contract in place with that third party.

Legal

Upon payment of invoices for work to be completed by Studio Jukes, the following agreement terms apply.

We will take the utmost care and attention to ensure that code is error-free and adequately future-proofed, but due to the rapidly-evolving nature of web standards, SEO, browsers and programming languages it is not possible to guarantee that code will function as intended indefinitely and so we can’t be liable to you or any third party for damages, including lost profits, lost savings or other incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of the operation of or inability to operate a web site and any other web pages, even if you have advised us of the possibilities of such damages. We will review the status of websites on an annual basis unless otherwise stated. Responsibility for reporting more immediate issues, bugs or unintended behaviour falls to the client to report during or after the testing phase.

SEVERABILITY. Whenever possible, each provision of this Agreement shall be interpreted
in such manner as to be effective and valid under applicable law, but if any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this Agreement shall nevertheless remain in full force and effect and the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid or enforceable provision.

THIRD PARTY MATERIALS. All third party materials are the exclusive property of their respective owners. I shall inform you of all third party materials that may be required to perform the services or otherwise integrated into the final project. Under such circumstances, I shall inform you of any need to license.

NO EXCLUSIVITY. The Parties expressly acknowledge that this Agreement does not create
an exclusive relationship between the Parties. Client is free to engage others to perform services of the same or similar nature to those provided by Designer, and Designer shall be entitled to offer and provide design services to others, solicit other clients and otherwise advertise the services offered by Designer.

GOVERNING LAW. The formation, construction, performance and enforcement of this
Agreement shall be in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom without regard to its conflict of law provisions or the conflict of law provisions of any other jurisdiction.
